Who is Samad Shoeb? Journey from Struggle to building The Future Human Architect

Every generation produces people who look at a broken system and decide to rebuild it instead of complaining about it. Samad Shoeb is one of them.

Today, he is known as a Founder of Oratrics, an EdTech company helping children and professionals across more than 22+ countries build the skills that traditional classrooms often skip public speaking, confidence, communication, leadership, and financial literacy. But the story of how he got here didn’t start with a business plan. It started with a problem he lived through himself.

This is the story of that journey from struggle, to clarity, to building what he calls his life’s work, shaping The Future Human Architect.

The Early Years : A Phase of Struggle

Like many students in the Indian education system, Samad grew up inside a structure built almost entirely around marks, ranks, and rote memorization & a weak financial situation like thousands of silent lower middle class families in India. Like most Indian parents, his father invested in his premium education even during the financial crisis. That struggle & hardwork Samad saw in his childhood were the backbone of Oratrics & social change in the form of uplifting students from the dark.

What he noticed early long before he had the language to describe, it was a gap. Students could solve equations but couldn’t hold a conversation with confidence. They could recite answers but couldn’t ask questions in a room full of strangers. Marks were rising. Self-belief wasn’t.

That gap would go on to define the next decade of his life.

The Turning Point: Realizing Skills Shape a Life, Not Just Grades

Somewhere in this period, Samad arrived at a conviction that would later become the foundation of Oratrics: academic performance and life-readiness are not the same thing. A child could top every exam and still freeze during a job interview, struggle to manage money as an adult, or avoid speaking up in a room that needed their voice.

He didn’t just want to point this out. He wanted to fix it.

Building Oratrics From Idea to a Movement Across Countries

The idea that became Oratrics wasn’t built alone. Samad started with co-founders Anas Shoeb and Gautam Kunchattu, Samad set out to build something that didn’t exist in the way it needed to: a structured, skill-development ecosystem for children and working professionals, not as an afterthought to academics, but as its own discipline.

What started as a focused idea has grown into programs spanning:

  • Public Speaking
  • Personality Development
  • Confidence Building
  • Creative Writing
  • Financial Literacy
  • Leadership
  • Conceptual Mathematics
  • Corporate Training

Today, Oratrics operates in 22+ countries, with a clearly stated mission: to reach one million students by 2030 not with information, but with capability.

Samad’s core belief is simple. The children being taught today will inherit a world that looks nothing like the one their curriculum was designed for. Jobs will change. Communication will change. The skills that mattered in 1995 will not be the skills that matter in 2035.

So the real work isn’t teaching a subject. It’s to architect a human being who can think clearly, speak with confidence, adapt under pressure, communicate across cultures, and lead when leadership is needed regardless of what industry, geography, or era they end up in.

That is the work Samad set out to do. Not building test-takers. Building future-ready humans.

Lessons From the Journey

Samad didn’t study a market gap in a report. He lived through the confidence gap as a student first.

  1. Skills compound; grades don’t. A grade closes a chapter. A skill like public speaking or financial literacy opens every chapter after it.
  2. Global scale starts with a specific, painful problem, solved well for one person first. Twenty-two countries didn’t happen on day one because the first version worked for the first child.
  3. Building alongside the right co-founders matters more than building alone. Oratrics exists because of a shared conviction between three people, not one.

What's Next

Oratrics’ goal is one million students by 2030, isn’t a marketing number. It’s a deadline Samad has set for himself. The work now is about scale: more countries, more programs, more partnerships with schools, parents, and organizations who believe skill-readiness deserves the same seriousness as academic readiness.
